The remains of a gothiccanopy and several labels are to be traced upon the stone, towhich was formerly affixed the following inscription : Here lyeth Katherine Howard, one of the Sisters and Heires of John Broughton, Esq. Son and Heire o/JohnBroughton, Esq. and late Wife of the Lord Willm.
