With a façade composed of folding planes, 62 Buckingham Gate is an urban jewel whose facets reflect its changing surroundings. This mixed-use office and retail building is located in a neighborhood of government offices on Victoria Street, a main artery of Central London whose character was shaped primarily after World War II. Most of the area’s buildings were built in the 1960s and 1970s, and many are expected to be replaced over the next 10 years.
