FORT DRUM, – Sgt. 1st Class Steven Petibone, 42nd Infantry Division public affairs office, examines a map while in the field filming video footage of 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry Brigade for the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team during the 27th’s XCTC (Exportable Combat Training Capabilities) exercise July 12-31. The 182nd is being aligned for training with the 27th as an add-on unit for next year. The 182nd will join the 27th next year at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La.
