Transport Sierra arrives at the Port of Embarkation in Hoboken, with 35 officers and 1,531 wounded soldiers, most of whom are convalescent. The soldiers are taken to West Shore Station on hospital ships Shinnebook and Ossining, and then transported by rail to Camp Merritt.
