In 1878 heestablished the Atnerican Photo engraving company,devoting his entire time to the building up and per-fecting of this business, of which he is the is also the inventor of several valuable patentsthat will shortly be brought before the public in thiscountry and Europe. In 1889 a reimion of the de-scendants of the first William Fowler was held atMilford, Conn., it being the 250th anniversary of thesettlement of the town, on which occasion a memo-rial stone bridge and tower were built over the millstream, dedicated to the founders, each cap stone ofwhich bears the name of one of the original settlersof this township. The first ceremony of the day ofcelebration was the baptism of a grandson of Will-iam M.
