USS MAKIN ISLAND, Indian Ocean (November 24, 2016) Senior Marines and Sailors serve a Thanksgiving meal to the junior service members of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard the USS Makin Island (LHD 8), Nov. 24, 2016. The meal consisted of the traditional Thanksgiving cuisine including turkey, ham, potatoes, cranberry sauce, bread rolls and pie.
