RNAS Culdrose trains aircraft handlers for operations on future aircraft carriers


The Royal Navy School of Flight Deck Handling at RNAS Culdrose use a dummy deck facility to train future aircraft handlers, to operate on the new class of future aircraft carriers HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales. The aircraft handlers train with de-commisioned Sea Harrier jump jets to replicate the noise, jet blast and busy operating enviroment of the new F35B Lightning aircraft which will soon enter service with the Royal Navy
