Hackman;secretary, W. G. Fisher; treasurer, J. H. Foster; librarian, GeorgeMyers; organists, Stella Dreese and Adaline Basset. On July 19, services were conducted by Rev. L. A. Weigle, ofNew Haven, Conn., who was then called to act as supply untilOctober. Eight members were added to the list during hispastorate. On September 25, 1903, the congregation was received by theAlleghany Synod at its meeting at Meyersdale. Rev. A. S. Hartman, , secretary of the Board of Home. LUTHERAN CHURCH AND PARSONAGE, MT. UNION,, PA. Missions, preached for the congregation on September 27, 1903,at which time the congregation made request for aid from theBoard. The request was granted, and aid was given, beginningDecember 1, 1903, on which date Rev. Theodore L. Crouse becamepastor of the congregation. Without delay the pastor began acanvass for funds to buy a lot for a church. By May 1, 1904, a lot was bought for $1,000, and paid corner-stone of the church was laid September 25, M. S. Cressman, of Lewistown, delivered the sermon at292 Moixr UNION this service. Rev. Koehler, of the Presbyterian Church, broughtgreetings from the local churches.
