An Ottoman armoured cap, 17th century Slightly vaulted iron calotte with vestiges of an inlaid gold arabesque décor and floral motifs. Incomplete Talik inscription, the top ring eyelet damaged. Thick brow and neck mail of riveted iron rings (minimal faults). An extremely rare armoured cap from the time of the "Turkish Plunder". Diameter 17 cm, total height 40 cm.
