Confocal light micrograph of cultured cells from mouse breast cancer tumour tissue. Fluorescent markers have been used to highlight structures. DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) in cell nuclei is blue. Smooth muscle actin, which is found in myoepithelial cells of glandular epithelium, is green. Endomucin, which is found on the surface of blood vessels is red.
