The ornate stone-pillared entrance to the manor in Ashby St Ledgers in Northamptonshire with its timber-framed Gatehouse beyond. It was in the gatehouse where the Gunpowder Plot was hatched in 1605; the manor was owned by one of the plotters, Robert Catesby.
