The battle "Batalha dos Atoleiros" is a historic event in little Alentejo village Fronteira. Every year in April is celebrated the victory of Portuguese king Joao I. against his enemy Juan from Castilla. In the night before the historic battle there is a town animation with shows and knight tournaments, medieval markets and street artists.
