Typhoon Haiyan humanitarian relief in Philippines Operation Damayan

Marine Lance Cpl. Xavier L. Cannon and members of the Philippine Armed Forces assist civilians displaced by Typhoon Haiyan Nov. 13 at Villamor Air Base as part of Operation Damayan. and Philippine Armed Forces have transported more than 107,000 pounds of relief supplies, 140 relief and aid workers, and more than 160 displaced personnel. The militaries of the two nations have partnered and trained together for decades, which prepare both forces for the challenges associated with extreme circumstances.
