Original WW1 era postcard mounted female war worker, land girl, The lady is watched by a group of bystanders fascinated by a woman wearing breeches and on horseback astride, rather than the side-saddle. She is carrying a rope. She is possibly working with cavalry horses. She is wearing a sash with a flower button hole. possibly taking part in some kind of mounted parade. Possibly Scotland, as Barry, Dundee written on the reverse.

On the reverse of this postcard is written Barry, Dundee. Possibly this refers to Barry Buddon as this was a military training area in WW1 and the camp had training trenches. But research of this village shows now sign of any of the buildings in the photograph so it's location cannot be certain.
