This hive fig. 335 is one of the best styles in the market today and is preferred by many. It is similar in construction to the dovetailed style, comprising all of the important features, and has the additional ad- vantage of the rabbets which enables one to tier up the hives or supers without danger of their being easily knocked out of place. The body is 16Xx20x 9)4 deep and is strong in construction, the corners being grooved and rabbeted so as to be nailed both ways. Cement coated nails of proper sizes are in- cluded to nail material. This hive body will take plain Langstroth, Hoflman end spaced, metal spaced and thick top stapled spaced brood frames. The cover is the new metal roof, telescoping the body a little, including a metal bound super cover. If this cover has occasionally a coat of our hive paint it will last a long time and positively no leaking, which is a great advantage over the old styles that are frequently leaking and soiling the comb-honey sections. The bottom board regularly furnished with this outfit is the old style B bottom board of ^ inch stock, with cleats running crosswise as shown in the cut and for the average beekeeper it equals new style Dan- zenbaker Bottom which can be used by removing the rabbets at bottom of hive.
