German Panzer II World War Two light tank cannon and turret Belgrade Military Museum Serbia


Belgrade, Serbia - March 20, 2015: A version of the light tank Panzer II used to great effect by the German military in the early years of the Second World War, particularly in the Polish and French campaigns. The tank was used as a reconnaissance tank from 1941. It ceased production in 1943. This piece is displayed at the outdoor Belgrade Military Museum near the Belgrade Fortress in Kalemegdan Park.
