A Fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis) on Hirta, St Kilda

A Fulmar sitting on a cleit on Hirta, St. Kilda. A remote archipeligo about 40 miles West of Scotland's Outer Hebrides. When threatened these birds defend themselves by spitting out a foul smelling oil which is almost impossible to remove.
