A small zoo is also maintained. A private canoe club has its club house located at the park. Ithas a membership of about 150, and from time to time during theseason gives regattas in which the general public takes a great dealof interest. The Saginaw Valley Traction Co. maintains a 40-minute schedule to the park on week days and 30 minutes on Sun-days. The company distributes some interesting advertising matter. AMUSEMENTS AT HYDE PARK. MUSKOGEE. T. T. relative to the park, which includes the rates of fare,ards is the park manager. L. W. Rich- Muskogee Electric Traction Co. Hyde Park, which is leased and managed by A. A. Kinney, islocated on the banks of the Arkansas River, five miles from Mus-kogee, I. T., a growing city of 30,000 population. The park isreached over the line of the Muskogee Electric Traction Co., whichfurnishes an excellent park service. The ride to the park is one of the principal features in connection with a days outing there. Theroute is laid over the prairies and through the forests of this pic-turesque country and is very attractive. The park contains a well-equipped theater with a large stage anda seating capacity of 1,500. During the season the managementpresents a variety of entertainment at the theater, including a comicopera, melodrama and musical comedy, which have proved excellentdrawing cards.
