There isno difference between the uniforms of the conductors and motor-men. The following regulations regarding the uniforms of the emer-gency crews are enforced by the Boston Elevated Railway Co. Thefull regulation uniform consists of a coat of corduroy made singlebreasted with turndown collar and buttoned close to the chin. Thevest and trousers are of the same material. A service stripe of scar-let cloth shall be worn on each coat sleeve for each five years of. LINDELL RAILWAY, ST. LOUIS. service. Buttons are of gilt of the companys standard design. Thebadge is always worn on the left breast of the outer garmeirt. Thecaps are of the same cloth as the uniform with cloth badge in frontof same. The uniforms for the conductors and motormen are of dark navyblue cloth and the coat is double breasted sack with Min. doublestitched edge, and cut to fit the form rather full. The regulation buttons and badges are furnished by the company and always remain its prop-erty, a deposit being required to insure their return.
