Heading back from Pitlochry to Killin and the aurora alert went off. A "quick" detour up to the old shielings at the pass between Ben Lawyers and Meall nan Tarmachan resulted in capturing the aurora over the mountains. It was barely visible to the naked yet - just feintly there - but the more sensitive camera sensor brought it out nicely! The foreground was painted in light from a headtorch that I had ready for returning to our geodome down the road!
