The well-worn Montée Mazon, the Mazon Steps in the town of Largentière in the Ardèche region of the south of France.

Largentier, in the Ardèche region of France, is the smallest sub-prefecture in the country. The town dates from Medieval times and takes its name from the silver mines that once existed in the region. It currently has only 2000 inhabitants and is a popular tourist destination. Albin Mazon, after whom these steps were names, was an author and historian who lived in the region.
