US Navy Radioman 3rd Class Tyree C. Scott entertains the locals during a work break while lending a hand to help refurbish an inner city school in Callao, Peru, as part of Operation HANDCLASP. Scott and his shipmates from USS REUBEN JAMES (FFG 57) joined efforts with the Peruvian navy and parents of children attending the impoverished school to help make minor plumbing and electrical repairs as well as painting during a four-day port visit while en route to Exercise TEAMWORK SOUTH '99.
