Comenius garden is named after philosopher John Amos Comenius (1592-1670)and may be found in Richardstrasse in the Bohemian village of Rixdorf in Neukölln. The garden represents the belief that all life should be considered part of a bigger picture. A path leads you through the garden where fruit trees, pavilion, pond and labyrinth are all strategically placed to represent Comenius’ ideas. A wooden stage refers to Comenius’ book “Schola Ludus”. A small silver bell allows access to this charming little garden.
