The Section on Indian Affairs of the Commonwealth Club has taken up with the Luncheon Com- mittee the quastion of their setting aside a meeting in the Fall, one oi the regular Friday Luncheon meet- ings at the Palace Hotel, for a talk on the Indians of California to be given by yourself. The Luncheon Committee has gladly acceded to the request and would be very pleased if you would favor us. I trust that your answer will be favorable and tbat you will ad- vise me as to what dates might be agreeable to you in September or October. The luncheons are held at and ex- tend to about , the speaker being allowed approxi- mately forty-five minutes.
