A nickel-silver mounted kilij, Ottoman/Greek, circa 1820 With typical T-shaped reinforcement at the back of the blade and broadened, double-edged point. On both sides of the base of the blade silver-inlaid arabesques with hexagram on the obverse. Nickel silver grip with flowers in relief and lateral eyelets for the (missing) chain. Wooden (replaced) leather-covered scabbard with nickel silver fittings decorated en suite in repoussé, old, non-corresponding brass suspension bar.
