Various Notes. v«.- ,^*T,he Bexley.^Floral Co. has some fine cyclamen plants, .some of them having as many as sixty-five leaves to the plant and a good supply of well developed buds. The companj' also has some nice mums of new varieties, which are now ready for cutting. Orval I'eyton, who was formerly with Gr. A. Ackerinaii, has opened a flower shop for colored trade on Long street. He reports a good business so far. McKellar's will soon liold a formal oi)ening of the West Inroad street store. L. E. Doyle has left T. ,T. Ludwig's. He has no plans for the near future. The Fifth Avenue Floral Co. had a large decoration last week for the Shahr wedding, which was a. prominent social affair. ,J. W. T. SCRANTON, PA. Club Meeting. At the regular monthly meeting of the Scranton Florists' Club, at the Hotel Holland, flower show plans were dis- cussed. It was the last meeting before the coming flower show, which takes l)lace Novemlier S to It. Wilkes-Barre, Pittston and other florists, who will join with the local club members in ex- hibiting flowers, were in attendance at the meeting. The following new meml)ers were elected to the organization: Tliomas O'Hara, Henry Schultheis, .Tohn Brown, Matthew Brown and A. R. Muir. A motion was passed that congratulations be sent to the Rt.
