One of the other large flowers in the pattern is a carnation. The flowers are made up of feston stitches with many small recesses and relief contours. The motifs are connected by a fine Maas soil, an alençon ground. Many different types of decorative land and decorative stitches have been used in and between the flowers. The top is straight finished with a messing strap. The scrap edge stems from the pattern and is finished with Pictos.
