From Pleasantville the roadbranches off and continues in almost a direct tangent toSomers Point, the terminus, a distance of 7 miles, makingthe total length of the line from the Atlantic City boardwalkto Somers Point 14 miles. The road is double-tracked located the sub-station, the distance of transmission from thepower house being upward of 60 miles. In the sub-stationare located the necessary 33,000-volt oil-cooled step-downtransformers with lightning arresters; oil switches,panels,etc.,and two 300-kw rotary transformers.
