Thefollowing varieties may be distinguished:—var. alba.—Flowers white, plant nearly or quite Ellisia.—Flowers dark blue with darker lines. Thebest for hedge-making, as it makes a strong growth,and stands dry weather better than the other normalis.—Flowers light blue.
