In due time he recovered from his delirium and as soon as hedid. he complained of the toothache. A dentist was called in. He ex-amined the mouth and found nothing wrong with the teeth. It happens,however, that this particular dentist is a radiodontist of no mean ability,and, so he asked to be permitted to make a radiograph of the region wherethe pain seemed to be located. This wras granted promptly—though at thetime all this occurred very few radiographs of teeth were being made—for the physicians in charge of the case were helpless.
