Raised walkway to the Recovery Roof project, on Bleaklow, near Glossop, Peak District, Derbyshire, England, UK

The Recovery Roof project is investigating how the moorlands recover with decreasing air pollution and climate change. The experiment works with automated roofs which pull across the plots at different times. The roofs cover different areas to test the effects of drought, reducing heat loss at night, and non-polluted rain (this area is covered when it rains but clean water is sprayed under the roofs).
