2LT Cassandra Jo Mullins (hometown Hindman, KY) is the daughter of Bill and Donna (deceased) Kirby. Her husband is MSG Timothy Wayne Mullins. 2LT Mullins earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in English from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005 and currently holds a position as Detective with the Kentucky State Police. 2LT Mullins enlisted 13 September 2012 in the Kentucky Army National Guard. She attended RSP with the 2/75th R&R BN, Co. C Det. 2 in Richmond and will be branching Signal, assigned to the 149th Signal Co. in Louisville as Platoon Leader.
