Amanda Gerlach, assigned to the 111th Army Band,, Hawaii Army National Guard, carries two five-gallon water cans while transitioning between events during the warrior tasks portion of the Hawaii Best Warrior Competition March 4, 2017. The grueling three-day competition tested Soldiers on numerous warrior tasks, and included several events designed to test each Soldier’s mental and physical endurance.
