(2) On the same sheet of the , and a little to the north-west of the monument just described there is marked a StoneCircle. We had somedifficulty in identifying the object, for, as will be seen from thephoto, it is not a stone circle in the scientific use of the term, buta circle of stones forming the remains of a collapsed clochan. ?
