Starting April 1, 2022, the Army began implementing the ACFT as the Army’s general physical fitness test for personnel actions. The Army will incorporate the ACFT in a time-phased, deliberate manner to ensure all Soldiers can train and adjust to the new events and scoring scales before scores used for personnel actions.
