It divides hon-ors with St. Pauls Chapel, Washingtons Headquarters and the Roger Morris Mansion in its connection with memories of Washington in New York. In theLong Room occurred the affecting scene with his officers, during which, for the last time, he took leave of his comrades-in-arms and retired to Mount Vernon.
