WASHINGTON, (Nov. 14, 2018) Chief Sonar Technician (Surface) Jeremy Hix, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2, speaks to Frank DiGiovanni, assistant deputy chief of naval operations for manpower, personnel, training and education, about unmanned systems used in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) missions at EOD Day on the Hill. The purpose of the event, organized by the Congressional EOD Caucus, is to provide a public forum to discuss the utility of EOD forces across the full spectrum of operations.
