Glen Moore and family, of Eushville, were in the city the early part of last week. Paul Tauer, florist and mayor of Leb- anon, Ind., was unfortunate in causing the death of a small child. The child ran from behind a car before his mov- ing automobile and before the car could be stopped she was fatally injured. Mr. Tauer was exonerated of all blame. I. Bayersdorfer, of H. Bayersdorfer & Co., Philadelphia, and W. C. Siebert, of Marion, Ind., were visitors last week. All the florists experienced the largest Mothers' day business yet. Ber- termann Bros. Co. had six extra auto- mobiles and all were kept busy. E. E. T. FORT WAYNE, IND. The Market. For the retailers, last week was a busy one and also an anxious one. It kept everyone guessing about how he could get flowers- enough to fill the orders for Mothers' day. There was a variation in prices, some being unusually low and others extremely high.
