WARDAK PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN – Spc. Adrian Velazquez, a Chicago native, checks the pumps of the hasty crater repair system through a computer system on Combat Outpost Soltan Khel located in southern Wardak Province. Velazquez a transportation specialist by trade is tasked with maintaining and operating this system for the 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment.
