A Pre 1939 English political cartoon depicting Britain's distrust of Russia's close crushing friendship with Turkey. Historically in the early 1920s, as a result of the Bolshevik Russian, it's government gave assistance to Turkey and relations warmed up with the assistance to Turkish revolutionaries during the Turkish War of Independence.
