Head Crushers or Cephalotribes.—The cephalotribe is the in-vention of the younger Baudelocque. It is simply a heavy,powerful forceps with the handles screwed together so as forci-bly to compress the skull between the blades. The best cephalo-tribe is Tarniers basiotrHn\ which combines a perforator and apowerful head crusher.
