The painters shop, which is an extension of the carpen-ters shop, is 70 ft. long. Space has also been reserved in theseshops for a complete equipment of woodworking machines andthe necessary benches. These two shops are divided by twoKinnear rolling doors, and together will accommodate ten cars,making altogether in these shops a total accommodation for. The car house proper consists of three bays, each span and containing three tracks, accommodating alto-gether fifty-five cars. The entrances to thecar house and to the shops are fitted with Kinnear rolling doors. The fitting shop averages 130 ft. x 41 ft. 6 ins., and is 25 to the eaves.
