HUNTING. Barry Todhunter (fortuitously, 'tod' is a northern English dialect name for a fox), Huntsman of the Blencathra Foxhounds, also known as the John Peel Hunt, with his hounds at their kennels in the village of Threlkeld in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, in the north of England. Some of the hounds, Cumbrian Foxhounds, are descended from John Peel's pack, the huntsman made famous by the traditional English folksong "D'ye ken John Peel?" No horses are involved, and he hunts on foot with the pack across Blencathra, Skiddaw, Threlkeld Common and St. John's Valley.
