KOREA 1910 - A colour photograph of Monument of Wongaksa at Tapgol Park, a tortoise (actually a turtle) stele built in 1471 to commemorate the founding of Wongaksa (temple) in 1465 as it was. (now roofed over). The park was designed by ohn McLeavy Brown, the Irish advisor to provincial subdivision in 1897.
