The works are all superficial,the ore being similar to that of the Little Bonanza nearby. There isone tunnel in 150 feet, opening up a vein 12 wide. This pi-operty was located QUICKSILVER RESOURCES. 135 in tlu early seventies and has l)een credite<l in former reporls withconsiderable production. The furnace and condensers, shown in thephotograph (Xo. 28). were completed late in 1874 and the mine pro-duced about 60 flasks of quicksilver in 1875. according to the bestinformation obtainable, and which seems to be the only production ofwhich there is record. The furnace is of the old coarse-ore type of5 tons capacity and there are 6 of the sheet-iron condensers.
