Tannersmule train, having left his familyin New York. In the spring of1862 he was sent back to presideover the New York Conference, but 332 LATTER-DAY SAINT took sick and returned to Utah in1866. He, however, returned to theStates in the spring of 1867, and pre-sided over the Eastern States Mis-sion until 1869, when he returnedto Utah. He died Jan. 14, 1896.
