The Transfiguration Cathedral of Mirozh monastery (1156) in Pskov. The cathedral is renowned for its 12th century frescoes, which is unique for Russia. It was commissioned by Pskov archbishop Niphont, and was built in a Byzantine style. Mirozh monastery was one of the cultural centers of medieval Russia.
