DIABETIC FOOT CARE

Set up of a therapy by negative pressure (called VAC or Vacuum Assisted Closure) by the nurse. It is a process of non-invasive healing by negative air pressure that is aimed at chronic wounds. It is indicated for the treatment of loss of cutaneous substance of traumatic and/or surgical origin so as to accelerate the process of healing. It uses a simple technology of placement in controlled depression of the lesion that affects all the aspects of healing and accelerate the process. It produces a mechanical force on the tissues and attracts the wound banks in a centripetal manner.
