A porttait of the constellation of Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown, in the northern spring sky. The brightest star is Alphecca. The frame contains the yellow supergiant and variable star R Coronae Borealis, aka Variabilis Coronae, below centre. This is a framing with a 135mm telephoto lens so is similar to the field of binoculars. This is a stack of 14 x 1-minute exposures with the Canon RF135mm lens at and Canon R5 at ISO1000, on the Star Adventurer 2i tracker. A single exposure thru a Kase/Alyn Wallace StarGlow filter added the glows to accentuate the bright stars and colours.
