Tooth anatomy

Anatomy of a healthy tooth. From top to bottom we can see the enamel in white, the dentin in gray beige, the burgundy pulp containing the vessels and nerves, the root surrounded by the cementum (brown line), then by the alveolo-dental ligament in white which joins up with the gum in pink. The roots are embedded in the alveolar bone in beige.
